![]() ![]() I've been submersed in the network side of things that managing a desktop group is going to be a lot of catch up. So my vague and probably annoying question is, is Thinapp a decent product, is it still updated and supported, and do you like working with it? Can it truly deliver a robust, ritualized application to devices (mostly desktop for us) in a way that the user can use them productively? One of the major pain points is the lab environments where the faculty have been able to dictate what apps they want their students to have access to, which is fine, but I think it's an environment that would benefit greatly from the concept of Thinapps, which I've truthfully never paid much attention to. I now find myself in charge of a fairly backward desktop environment (think small community college) where they are still installing software by individual installs, have horrible license management and a bloated desktop support team that isn't very efficient. Hello All, I'm a long time Sysadmin, I've done a ton of work with VMware, building hosts, managing networks, etc. I'm a long time Sysadmin, I've done a ton of work with VMware, building hosts, managing networks, etc. ![]()
